Jobox Marketplace Animation
BACKGROUND
During my time at Jobox.ai, I worked on an animation that described the matching algorithm at the core of the Jobox Marketplace strategy, matching technicians to jobs in their areas. Particularly challenging was visualizing the algorithm, which we thought of as an AI. I ultimately chose to illustrate this as an abstracted form of blocks and cubes, constantly changing, filtering, and matching with different lines of information entering and exiting. Because this was a marketing project, we strategically wove the visual brand into different aspects of the animation, using color and product illustration to tie the aesthetic to other marketing efforts like our landing pages and social media channels. Animation and sound work was covered by an independent contractor.
