MY ROLE
UX/UI Designer
BACKGROUND
As part of the Jobox effort to support teams, bring team owners onto the platform, and tie the functionality of our web based Admin Console into the Jobox mobile app, we built the Team Invitations Acceptance flow. This allowed team owners to send invitations from the Admin Console and have those invitations be received by techs via the Jobox mobile app.

CHALLENGES
- Avoiding fraud and scams; assuring users that invitations are authentic
- Clearly communicating pay splits between team owner and member
- Giving users flexibility when acknowledge invitations
USER FLOW
Because our team invitations acceptance flow acted as the initial connection between our web and mobile platforms, I created user flows to think through the step by step experience that users would have, and where the intersections between the two platforms would take place.

ONBOARDING AND DYNAMIC INTRO SCREEN
We built this flow into our existing mobile registration flow and introduced a dynamic welcome screen to enrich the experience, create trust, and encourage new registrations and acceptance of team invitations.
PROJECT OUTCOME
We split the final experience into two flows, one that began from a text message with invitations link, and one that started by accessing the mobile app settings where pending invitations could be acknowledged.
To address the issue of fraud and invitation authenticity, we put the name and avatar of the inviter on the dynamic intro screen and invitation screen so users would know who the invitation was coming from.
Additionally, we displayed the phone number of the inviter and call button on the invitation screen, and supported this by requiring team owners to authenticate their phone numbers in the Admin Console registration flow prior to inviting team members.
We placed the split agreements prominently on the invitation screen for clarity and transparency.
